Refund policy

We'd rather you try VorticPanel before paying: the free 15-day trial has every feature. If it still doesn't work out after you buy, this is how refunds work.

New licenses: 14 days

If you ask within 14 days of first buying a license, we'll refund its first payment in full, monthly or yearly, with no questions. The license is then canceled and your panel's admin area locks. Your customers' servers keep running.

Renewals

Renewals aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time under Billing in your account, and nothing more is charged. The license keeps working until the end of the period you've paid for. If a renewal went through by mistake, such as on the day you meant to cancel, get in touch within 7 days and we'll sort it out.

Adding and removing nodes

When you add nodes to a license partway through a period, you pay only for the rest of the period. When you take nodes away, they're no longer charged from your next renewal; the period you've already paid for isn't refunded or credited.

When we don't refund

• Licenses we revoked because they were shared, or used to get around the license check.
• Payments that are disputed with your bank: a chargeback suspends the license while it's open.

How to ask

Open a ticket from your account with the license key, or email support@vorticpanel.com. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days of us approving them, depending on your bank.
